View Full Version : Which video format do you prefer?

There's many different video formats out there, so instead of using a wide variety of them, it's probably best that people respond with their preference if they have one. Of course, with HD video, some formats are not available (mpeg) - they are, but would lead to massive file sizes, whereas using another HD format such as DivX/Xvid, or MPEG4 would have comparable quality and a much smaller size.

If you have a preference as to what your video player plays best, please select it, otherwise please select "No Preference".

I like DivX/Xvid, i like the quality the size, its just a great format

divx/xvid definitely. the quality is fantastic and from here you go anywhere else, if need be.

Since I use VLC Media Player and I'm not a video connoisseur , it doesn't matter to me.
